Arrival time
The apartment is available from 3pm on the first day of your week which is typically a Saturday.
Departure time
You must
be leave the apartment by 10am on Saturday. We or our representative will be
there to check you out or we will pass by the flat later that day. You
will receive advice on where to return the keys beforehand.
Internet
Internet access is not currently available in the apartment. However, there is free web access at this nearby cafe: Le Rouge Lime located at 167 bd Voltaire just on the corner with Rue de Charonne near the exit for the Metro Charonne.
Kitchen
There is a
fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric fan oven, overhead
extractor fan, fridge (with icebox), dishwasher, full range of
saucepans with lids and non-stick frying pans, glasses (inc. wine
glasses), plates, bowls, cutlery, casseroles, roasting dish.
Keys
As a rule,
only one set of keys will be provided. If needed a second set can be
made available for a fee of £5 (subject to availability). The loss of any set of keys will incur
a replacement fee of £15.
Linen
Linen for the beds is provided but personal towels are not. You can opt to pay a £12 linen cleaning charge if you don't fancy or don't have the time to organise this on your departure.
Parking
There is
free parking in the street outside at weekends and in the evenings
(after 7pm). However, during the day parking is
limited to two hours at a time and requires a card bought from newsagents. A much better arrangement is to put the car in a nearby 24-hour underground car park. We
normally use this one on Avenue Ledru Rollin.
Telephone
There is a telephone in the apartment. You can receive calls and make local and emergency calls on it.
Television
There is a television tuned to French stations. There is also a stereo radio-CD player and a longwave radio to pick up Radio Four.
Transport
The apartment has excellent bus and metro links. The two nearest metros are Charonne and Philippe Auguste. These will take you into the centre of the city along lines 9 and 2 respectively, or down to Nation where you can pick up lines that will take you further south or west to the Champs-Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. At the end of Rue de Nice, where the apartment is situated, you can take the number 76 bus direct to the Louvre via Bastille and Rue de Rivoli. On Boulevard Voltaire you'll find the number 56 bus, useful for getting to the Gare du Nord.

The apartment is on the sixth floor but there is a lift!
